5 Things Every Girl Should Do After Getting Independence

Even in today’s era, it is really difficult to get independence for girls which they usually dream of, every now and then. Staying at parties till late at night, having fun with friends in a hill station or a far off land where there is no one to keep a check on you, wearing anything you feel like without anyone commenting on your dress and many more such things.

So, what if you really come across such a day in your life, someday? What if you’re given a chance to live your life your way and not on the terms of someone or in that case, anyone else? What would you do?

Read on to get some ideas about the various opportunities out there which you would love to explore.

1. Go to at least three new places on your own expense.

We, as women, often talk about women empowerment but still fail to pay for ourselves when the need arises. Overcome that thing, for once, and let your self-esteem rise high as you plan a trip at your own expense. Feel the confidence build up within you as you realize your true strength. I bet you wouldn’t want anyone to pay for you after that!

2.  Buy a ridiculously expensive dress to flaunt.

We generally allow ourselves to compromise; be it for our parents, siblings or boyfriends. Window shopping becomes our way of imagining ourselves in an expensive dress that we are unable to afford. Why not let everyone else be out of your head while you buy your favorite dress? Let it all go and feel the aura of beauty as you flaunt your own expensive, extraordinary dress among your friends.

3. Go to posh late night parties.

This is one thing girls often dream of. And why wouldn’t they when their parents and their respective society binds them into a time schedule which they often cannot deny. “Be back at home by 7”, we often hear our parents say. Let that fear be gone now. Cherish your freedom and attend late night parties with your friends and loved ones. Live the night life and enjoy the essence of real freedom.

4. Design a dream home.

“So, when are you getting married?” is the most common question which women come across after a certain age. Let that thought out of your head and live the life of freedom as you explore your interests, your likes and dislikes. Let yourself free and imagine or rather build a dream home on a sheet of paper or instead of a model. Decide what you need for that which of course involves money and manage the rest. See your dream come alive as you make efforts for your own dream home.

5. When you feel like you’ve lived your life, settle down.

And then, of course, we all desire to spend our lives with someone we love or someone who cares for us. Who would like to die alone with no one to look forward to? Thus, when you feel that you’ve enjoyed your freedom enough and that you’ve lived your life up to your expectations, settle down with someone you love or someone who loves you. It is always better to have a life partner to look up to as and when needed.

And this sums it up for now. Find your way of living through all of these and then decide what you have to do in life. This, I guess, will help you a bit in exploring your options.
