The 18- year old has just been the victim of another shocking death hoax orchestrated by online pranksters. Even media giants like CNN shared links to attract visitors.
RedHotChilliSauce.Press spread the rumors saying that he had committed suicide but the news was debunked by Snopes. But within the time period, millions of links all over Facebook and Twitter had already been shared along with spam and malicious content.
But this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to death exaggerations. Jaden Smith’s mother, Jada Pinkett Smith, fell victim to something similar a few days later.
The recent news on the Hollywood actress was just confirmed to be false after worried fans reacted on the internet. News of her death spread like wildfire on Facebook when an “R.I.P. Jada Pinkett Smith” Facebook Page attracted almost a million likes.
Even though the news was unsupported by any causes or proof, hundreds of fans immediately wrote messages of condolences and expressed their sadness of the “passing” of the 44-year old actress. Her representatives validated the news as a hoax on August 1, 2016, and that she is alive and well. They also added: “Stop believing what you see on the Internet.”

1.Eminem
Earlier in July, the rapper was trending on social media but not because of his music. News about his death gained conviction after fans read a compelling message on a Facebook page dedicated to him. It read, “At about 11 a.m. ET on Sunday (July 31, 2016), our beloved rapper Eminem passed away. Eminem was born on October 17, 1972, in Saint Joseph. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”
2. Rowan Atkinson
The English comedian famous for his Mr.Bean character was termed dead by online pranksters in an elaborate hoax which was met with an angered response from the actor. Sources later confirmed that the star was alive, well and working on his next movie.
3. John Cena
Strangely enough, the year of death was incorrectly written as 2015. TMZNewsOnline.net released a fake article writing-
“John Cena died in a single vehicle crash on Route 80 between Morristown and Roswell. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics responding to the vehicle accident and was identified by photo ID found on his body. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in this accident.
Highway Safety Investigators have told reporters that John Cena lost control while driving a friend’s vehicle on Interstate 80 and rolled the vehicle several times killing him instantly.”
He hasn’t responded to the claims but remains active on social media with sources confirming his condition.
