Love him or hate him you just cannot ignore Donald Trump. He has been the center of media attention and subsequent controversies ever since he announced his candidature for the post of President of United States.
Although he has been in the limelight for almost all of his life now, here are some lesser known facts about the man we know as ‘The Donald”.
1. He was a badly behaved kid. At the age of 13, he was sent off to a military school by his father after being booted from Kew-Forest School, a private school where his father was on the Board of Trustees.
2. Donald Trump, The Fragrance exists along with a bunch of other men’s items.
3. In 2013, he was included in the WWE Hall Of Fame. In the same year, he appeared and won in the “Battle of Billionaires” opposite Vince McMohan .
4. If he wins, *IF* that would make him the second President to have a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame alongside Ronald Reagan.
5. Around 250,000 Britons signed a petition once to ban Trump from traveling or visiting the UK at all.
6. Donald Trump came up with the idea of launching his own brand of vodka. It failed but the Dutch-made vodka is still around.
7. Though the billionaire business mogul leads a lavish lifestyle, it is quite surprising to know that he is a teetotaler and claims to have never consumed alcohol of any sort.
8. Four of his businesses have filed for bankruptcy in 1991,1992,2004 and 2009. Though each time around he has managed to make up for his losses. He has never filed for personal bankruptcy.
9. He’s considered running for President roughly five times ! He also considered running for Governor of New York twice in 2006 and 2014.
10. He is a germophobe meaning that he has an extreme fear of germs. He dislikes shaking hands and when forced to do so, he has a tendency to pull the other person closer into his body.
Trump is credited with saying :”Part of being a winner is knowing when enough is enough. Sometimes you have to give up the fight and walk away, and move on to something that is more productive.” Given his image in the public eye , we bet you didn’t see that coming from him.
