A talented Typographic Shadow Graffiti artist from India named Daku uses sunlight to create the appearance of animated text on the walls. His one such masterpiece can be seen at the Lodhi Colony of New Delhi.
This artwork is named ‘Time Changes Everything’. It symbolizes the changes which time brings forth in our lives. The literal meaning of this quote can be seen in action with the changing positions of the sun. When sunlight falls on the graffiti letters, which are placed at 90 degrees to the wall, it casts a shadow on the wall and certain words can be traced. The angle of the words keeps changing with the rotation of the earth. This generates an appearance of animated text.
This artwork gives different appearances to the building at different times of the day. It is amazing to watch the shadows at play.
