Wonder Woman is an upcoming American superhero movie based on the DC Comics character of the same name ‘Wonder Woman’. Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures , Wonder Woman is the fourth installment in the DC Extended Universe.
Wonder Woman was first introduced in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Directed by Patty Jenkins , the movie is set for release on June 2, 2017, in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D. The trailer was released on July 23, 2016, at Comic Con.
Soon after the release of the first footage, Gal Gadot is drawing appreciation from all over the world for her character named Diana Prince. Mesmerized by the short appearance that the Wonder Woman made in the climax of the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, viewers have been looking forward to watching her perform again on the big screen. Seems like their wish has been fulfilled in the best way possible. Wonder Woman has surpassed the viewer’s expectations. She is bold, beautiful and brave, the quintessential traits of a ‘Wonder Woman’.
Wonder Woman is expected to draw huge commercial success as it carries a flavor of uniqueness. It is the first Wonder Woman movie as opposed to the eighth Batman movie, seventh Superman movie, or sixth Spider-Man movie. Also, the work on graphics in the movie is impeccable. It would be a real treat to watch the lifelike graphics in 3D.
What’s in the trailer?
The trailer opens with Steve Trevor, an American pilot, washed ashore on an island where he encounters Diana, princess of the Amazons. She was raised on a sheltered island and trained to be an invincible fighter. She tells Steve about the world war that has befallen and sets out to stop the war.
Elated by her lead female role in the movie Gal Gadot says in a recent interview,
“I feel like Diana is really accessible. It’s very easy to relate to her. She has the heart of a human so she can be emotional, she’s curious, she’s compassionate, she loves people. And then she has the powers of a goddess. She’s all for good, she fights for good, she believes in great. I want to be her. And in Wonder Woman, she has this naiveté in her. It isn’t stupid, it’s magical. I would want to be naïve like that again.”
Gal Gadot also attributed the trailer’s colossal appreciation to the director Patty Jenkins, who according to Gadot was the key woman behind the project. She says:
“It’s a story about a girl becoming a woman. I think only a woman, who has been a girl, can be able to tell the story in the right way” .
The odds are highly in favor of Wonder Woman, whose trailer is making rounds of news and popularity all over the Internet. Turning out to be one of the much-awaited movies of 2017, Wonder Woman is bound to be a big hit.
