“Dear Zindagi”– What does this bring to your mind?
I will tell you what comes to my mind hearing these two words. A handsome hunk and a cute lady on their bicycles with a serene backdrop behind them. These two on the bicycle are none other than India’s heartthrob Shah Rukh Khan and our pretty lady Alia Bhatt. The first look of “Dear Zindagi” has already won millions of hearts.
This movie is going to make us fall in love with life again and will teach us to enjoy the small happy moments of our life. The caption of their first poster :
“Life is a ride and you gotta keep moving! Presenting, #DearZindagiFirstLook,”
perfectly sums up the movie.
Written,directed and co-produced by Gauri Shinde, the director of English Vinglish, this movie beckons us on a fun-filled journey of life, love and laughter.
We will follow Kaira(Alia Bhatt), a rising cinematographer in her journey of life where she searches for perfection. Alia, apart from sharing the screen with Shah Rukh Khan, will also be seen with four more actors, Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Zafar, Kunal Kapoor, and Angad Bedi.
The movie is not a typical love story. It shows a young and lively girl falling in love three times, only to gain a new perspective about life each time. And then by chance, an encounter makes her understand the true values of life. She discovers that life is all about finding happiness in it’s imperfections.
Shah Rukh plays the role of Kaira’s therapist cum life coach.
The other four guys who date Alia at different points of her life also play important roles in this coming of age romantic comedy.
We are waiting for 25th November, the day on which the theaters will take us on a roller coaster ride of “Dear Zindagi”.In the meantime it’s Wednesday today and we are hoping that today will be a fabulous Orange Wednesday for us when we will get to feast our eyes on the trailer for this movie as promised by SRK.
