If by any chance, you’ve been holding up until the last conceivable minute to choose whether or not you need to move up to Windows 10, that last conceivable minute is all of a sudden right around the bend. Microsoft reminded Windows clients in a blog entry today that the free Windows 10 upgrade offer is going to end on July 30th, and soon thereafter the cost for a full form of Windows 10 Home will bounce to $119 and hence upgrading from Windows 7 or 8 to Windows 10 will cost you minimum $119.The free upgrade offer was a bold gambit for Microsoft — previously, nothing could get in the way of that tasty OS revenue. But, after Windows 8 failed to entice developers and consumers, the company needed to do something drastic.
