Arnab Goswami Is All Ready To Reappear On Our T.V Screens

The dogmatist, Arnab Goswami is back with his brand new undertaking, the first of its kind, which he referred to as ‘Republic.’

Arnab was the CEO of the Indian news channel Times Now and ET Now. He is credited for the huge hike in the popularity of Times Now with his prime time debate show ‘The News Hour,’ and ‘Frankly Speaking.’

He has a disciplined fan base who actively follows and criticizes him. In fact, Arnab’s work is also accused by many as being far from journalism.

Arnab Goswami quit from all the executive positions that he held at Times Now, and it’s sister company ET Now on 1st November 2016.

He had plans for entering independent media. “Independent media will thrive. The game has just begun.”, These were his words. He added that he wishes to give competition to BBC and CNN.

In his interactions with few media outlets like The News Minute, The Quint, Arnab confirmed about resuming his career with his upcoming independent undertaking-‘Republic’.

Arnab said, “My venture is called ‘Republic’; I seek the support of the people of India.” He stated that this is a work-in-progress, but he wishes to launch it before the famed U.P elections of 2017.

His PR agency will be making a formal announcement about his venture in a few weeks. As for now, sources have revealed that Republic will primarily be based out of Mumbai. The article in The News Minute also states that a media owner based out of Bengaluru, a major TV distribution network, and an influential advertising and media buying group comprise the team of investors backing Arnab’s big comeback.

Anywho, Arnab is back, whether you like it or not.
