We have some Bad news for you!! You cannot carry your beloved possession on airplanes.Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been banned by Civil Aviation.

The government has banned passengers from carrying Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in check-in bags. Flyers will only be allowed to carry this mobile phone in handbags and keep them switched off during the entire duration of flights. The order comes into immediate effect. This has been issued keeping air safety in mind,”  said Directorate General of Civil Aviation chief B S Bhullar.

The Indian regulator’s order came in hours after the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) delivered a directive in this respect.

“In light of recent incidents and concerns raised by Samsung about its Galaxy Note 7 devices, the Federal Aviation Administration strongly advises passengers not to turn on or charge these devices on board aircraft and not to stow them in any checked baggage,” the FAA order quoted

Samsung has investigated the problem of bursting and found that the rechargeable batteries inside the Samsung galaxy note 7 were at error.

A specific family in St Petersburg, Florida reported a Galaxy Note 7 phone caught fire when it was left charging in their Jeep thereby destroying the vehicle.

Australian airline firms were among the first ones to take measures. Now, Qantas airline has asked its passengers not to switch their Note 7 devices on and not to charge them during flights.

Now reports have come up that Australian airlines have taken a similar step, including Jetstar Airways and Virgin Australia.

Samsung launched their latest version of its Note series in August. The Note series of Samsung is one of the most expensive lines of phones. Before the issue of battery explosions had risen up, demand was so high that Samsung was not able to supply as per the demand.
