The trailer of the much-awaited Hollywood movie ‘XXX: The Return of Xander Cage’ is out and it was first uploaded by Vin Diesel on his official Facebook Page.
Two days back, Deepika Padukone uploaded a video on Instagram of the movie logo.
Deepika Padukone plays the character of “Serena Unger” in her Hollywood debut “xxx:the return of Xander cage”. She is seen as somebody who is quick with guns, knives, and one-liners.
She says:
“Whatever you are here for, you are going to come up short.”
You won’t be able to take your eyes off from the sizzling hot body of Deepika Padukone. Her shoulder cuts and tattooed body have surely left us jaw-dropped.
xxx: The Return of Xander Cage is an upcoming 2017 action movie directed by D. J. Carus, starring Vin Diesel, Deepika Padukone, Tony Jaa, Donnie Yen, Nina Dobrev, Rory McCann and Samuel L. Jackson. It is a sequel to the 2002 film xxx and 2005 movie xxx: State of the Union, though more in line with the earlier one. The film is set to release on January 20, 2017, by Paramount Pictures.
The plot rotates around the life of Xander Cage, who comes out of self-imposed refugee to fight alpha warrior Xiang, as reported by Entertainment Weekly. Xander cage is thought to be long dead and is set on a collision course with deadly alpha warrior Xiang (Donnie Yen) and his team in a race to recover a sinister and seemingly unstoppable weapon known as Pandora’s Box. Recruiting an all-new group of thrill-seeking cohorts, Xander finds himself enmeshed in a deadly conspiracy that points to collusion at the highest levels of world governments.
Last week Deepika Padukone had also revealed her character poster for the film xxx: The Return of Xander Cage with the brave tagline ‘I don’t believe in good guys’ written across her face.
Earlier, Deepika Padukone and Vin Diesel had publicized the movie’s red-and-silver logo was supported by Diesel’s powerful voice saying:
“The world has changed. We need people with the skills and the attitude to take on threats we don’t even know exist. We need a different kind of soldier.”
With each passing day, Deepika’s fans are getting to see new stills from her Hollywood debut film. A few weeks ago some sources released her badass biker babe look clad in an all-black leather look which made everyone go bonkers.
“You have heard some of the casting, you have heard about deepika, who is somebody i have wanted to work with for a long time. We were really close to working together in furious 7 and… we are going to have a blast,” Vin diesel said.
Deepika says her ethnicity helped her bag the role, and in the film, she will be given an opportunity to display her Indian-ness ostentatiously.
“I am very excited. But i want to confess that i am very nervous. Most importantly, i feel proud to be a part of a film where i get to flaunt my ethnicity. The reason they are roping me in is because of my background. I really hope that i do well in the movie and people go and watch it.”
