Look At These 8 Eye-arresting Images of Marilyn Monroe From Her Final Photoshoot Before Death

We all know Marilyn Monroe as an American performing artist and model. She was acclaimed for playing “moronic blonde” characters and got to be a standout amongst the most mainstream sex images of the 1950s, significant of the period’s states of mind towards sexuality. In spite of the fact that she was a top-charged on-screen character for just 10 years, her movies netted $200 million by the time of her unexpected death in 1962. She keeps on being viewed as a noteworthy mainstream culture symbol.

On July 13, 1962, photographer George Barris directed a photograph shoot with Marilyn Monroe at a shoreline in Santa Monica. The subsequent photos would have been for a book, “Marilyn: Her Life In Her Own Words”;however, Three weeks after the photoshoot, Monroe was found dead in her home in Brentwood, Los Angeles. Barris was devastated and decided not to public the book that the photos were taken for: Marilyn: Her Life In Her Own Words.

It would just be 25 years after this disastrous occasion that Barris, alongside Hollywood glamor photographer collector Edward Weston, would distribute a restricted release of 99 prints of the eight photos from this shoot.

Let’s have a look at these eight touching and beautiful pictures of Marilyn Monroe along with some of her quotes

“I’m selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I’m out of control, and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best.”
