‘Beauty and the Beast’ Trailer Sets Record for Most Views in 24 Hours After Beating Fifty Shades and Star Wars

The first trailer of Disney’s new Film”Beauty and the Beast” accumulated 127.6 million views around the world in the 24 hours after its debut on Monday. None of the trailers has ever been seen so many times on first day in the history of worldwide Cinema than this one.

Previously this record was held by the trailer for ‘Fifty Shades Darker’, which was seen 114 million times in its initial 24 hours on the web. And before that, the record-holder was ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, which scored 112 million perspectives in its first day

The figure of 127.6 million is the global views for the Beauty and the Beast trailer, but it doesn’t include views from China

Back in May, when the teaser trailer for the film was released, it was also viewed 91.8 million times, which had then surpassed the record-setting 88 million views for the teaser trailer of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
