Dhinchak Pooja has always created a lot of buzz in the social media, mainly because of her highly non-sensible kiddish lyrics and very odd and funny singing style. Her most popular video till date is ‘ Selfie Maine Le Li Aaj’ which has crossed 21 Million+ views on YouTube. The various versions of her other two brainbuster songs ‘Daaru Daaru’ and ‘Swag Waali Topi’ have combinedly gathered almost 20 million more views on her official YouTube channel.

Recently, on 25th June 2017, she released a new song ( on her fans demand as she says) named ‘Dilon Ka Shooter, Hai Mera Scooter‘. It was again received very well by her fans ( and non-fans too for the obvious reason) and it soon started trending on YouTube and various other social media channels.

Dhinchak shared the success of her latest video song with her fans on Facebook like this:

But quite shockingly, today, on 9th July 2017, after exactly 2 weeks of its release, YouTube has removed this video due to copyright claim by someone named ‘Kathappa Singh’

Copyright Claim! Like really?

Has she really copied this extraordinary song from someone else? Well, I know that she is a pathetic singer ( Calm down fans! It’s my personal opinion about her singing, not about her 🙂 ) but she can’t be the ‘Anu Malik’ of ‘Netizens Singing World’. Can she?

Here is the Facebook post by Dhinchak Pooja, in which she has shared the YouTube link of her latest song.

Try clicking this link. You will find that it has been removed by YouTube and hence no more playable.

Who is Kathappa Singh?

We tried to find information about this claimant called Kathappa Singh but we couldn’t find any relevant info. Well, the name ‘Kathappa’ also appears to be a fake name and inspired by the film ‘ Bahubali’. Probably someone successfully fooled ‘YouTube’ by providing false proof about this video.

In fact, YouTube doesn’t ask for a lot many proofs for copyright claims. You just need to fill this form here: YouTube and you will be asked questions like this:

Now, this fake Kathappa might have opted the second option “I appear in this video without permission” and it’s not that difficult to prove even if asked further.

So, It believe it won’t be that easy for Dhinchak Pooja to counter-claim this copyright notification given this smart guy had really played well 🙂

Till then, just enjoy being in a little less noisy version of YouTube ( Sarcastic laugh)

Update: 12th July 2017

The above-mentioned copyright claim created a panic among ‘Dhinchak Pooja’s team and hence, to avoid getting targetted for all her videos, she smartly made all her videos private to stop any further copyright claims.

So, her channel is completely safe with all her videos ( except the ‘scooter’ song which was actually removed from YouTube due to copyright claims.
