1. Angelina gave her Oscar ,SAG Awards Golden Globes and Critics Choice Award to Marcheline Bertrand, her mother as she believes she was the one who deserved all the appreciation , bought her up to everything in her life who passed away in 2007.

2. The actress can fly her own private plane all by herself and by flying on Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic she is among one of the fortunate people who had the opportunity to view earth from space.
Angelina owns a Private Pilot Certificate with Single Engine,Airplane and Land rating
3. She became the Goodwill Ambassador for the United National high commissioner for Refugees in 2012 after getting personally aware of worldwide Humanitarian crises while filming Tomb Raider in Cambodia.
She visited 20 countries and lend a helping hand by donating 1/3 of her earning to charity.
4. Her courage is beyond admirable for visiting highly volatile areas as a Goodwill Ambassador. She visited Sudan during voracious conflict there, she also visited Chad during its civil war and Iraq and Libya during the Libyan Revolution and risked her life.
Two weeks after she arrived home from Afganistan , a UN bunker was and everyone inside it was killed.
5. Jolie has been on field missions around the world since 2001 and met refugees and internally displaced persons in more than 21 countries
Her visited countries include Jordan,Tanzania,Costa Rica, Egypt, , Iraq, Chad, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Haiti, Pakistan , Kenya and many more.
6 . In march 2005 Jolie donated funding necessary to found The National centre Immigrant Children and refugees.
The mission was to advocate and provide aid to children migration either by choice or by force.
7. She thinks teenagers are real heroes. Talking of which she said in an interview-
“I believe that every teenager is a hero ,when we are i your teens you feel so much pain , Go to school is like going to war ,people let you down almost every time. Sometimes it becomes very very difficult to stay strong, but you have to.”

8. Angelina adopted her first child Maddox from Cambodia in 2002 from an orphanage and her second girl child Zahara Marley from Ethiopia in 2005 and ,a son Pax Thein from the orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City ,Vietnam in 2007 as a single parent. Her six children speak seven languages!
Angelina has tattoos of coordinates representing the birth countries of each of her kids, the coordinates of France tattooed on her arm twice , one each for Knox and Viv.
9. Angelina’s first biological daughter Shiloh Nouvel in 2006 with husband Brad Pitt ,whose picture was sold for $4 million to an American magazine , People and $3.5 to UK’s magazine, Hello! ‘making $10 million worldwide which was donated to undisclosed charity.
Later in 2008 she gave birth to a boy and girl twin named Knox and Vivienne whose first picture fetched a whooping $14 million which was donated Jolie-Pitt foundation this time.
The new born photograph earned up to made $14 million worldwide –the most expensive Celebrity picture ever.
10. During her marriage to Husband Brad Pitt that took place at Château Miraval, she let her kids draw all over her weeding veil and dress which was published on the cover of the People magazine.
Her six children drew some artistic stick figures, cats, dogs among other indistinguishable doodle, which Jolie had hand embroidered and put her on her wedding gown.
11. She set up and financed Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation which is dedicated to community development and environmental conservation in Cambodia.
The Foundation name was after his son Maddox who she adopted from Cambodia.
12. Jolie visited a refugee camp in Chad in February 2007 for the second time to raise awareness of thousands of refugees fleeing the killing in Darfur.
“Its always hard to see decent people , families living in such difficult conditions,” said she.
13. She founded the educational partnership for Children of Conflict in 2007 by joining forces with economist Dr. Gene Sperling .
“Every child has a right to education and a conflict is not an excuse for us to ignore that right,” said Jolie.
14 .In 2014 the actress also stepped forward with an impressive group of leaders to fight women Rights around the world. She was a part of the African Union’s Meeting on south Africa and sat on the panel of women peace and security.

15. In 2008 Jolie announced to open AIDS and Tuberculosis clinic in Ethiopia , the country from where her daughter Zahara Marley was adopted.
16. In May 2013 Angelina Jolie announced that she went a double mastectomy because she had 87% risk of developing breast cancer.
She took courage and celebrity platform to spread awareness for cancer and women health that cannot be measured in numbers.She feels great and looks even better!
17. A new primary school for girls was open in Tangi which was funded by Jolie was Afganistan just 18 months in march 2010 after she visited the place and found that girls did not have adequate educational opportunities
It consists of 8 classrooms to teach 800 girls in two shifts.
18. Besides being an actress she directs her PR herself.
Angelina Jolie is said to be the only Hollywood actress who does not have a publicist to represent her and her PR activities. She deals with her own public image
19. She prefer doing all her stunts and performs most it herself. For the movie Lara Croft the producton team had to come up with a special gun for Jolie which she could easily reload because of the fact that she is left handed.
She proofs that she is no less than anyone, as Lara Croft, Angelina Jolie performed almost 80% of the stunts.
20. Unlike many girls, she is not scared of reptiles, insects, and other such creepy creatures.
As a kid ,Angelina used to have weird pets like a lizard -Vladimir, Harry Dean Stanton (a snake) and Harry (a rat).
