Karan Johar is back with a bang after Student of the year. Karan Johar is all set with his next directorial venture ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘. This would be his second flick as a director without our Badshah”Shah Rukh Khan” in the lead role.
Yes you guessed it right. Like most of Karan Johar’s other movies, “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” will also be a romantic drama. This would be a multi-starrer film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. The movie will also feature Pakistani heart throb Fawad Khan. Saif Ali Khan and Lisa Hayden will also have a cameo appearance in the film. The film will also feature Sunny Leone, Lisa Hayden, and Deepti Naval.
“Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” is co-produced by Fox Star India and Dharma Productions. And is set to make a bang on the box office on October 28.
The film is a romantic triangular love-heart break story which has been shot in diverse regions of New Delhi, Paris, and New York. Major filming began in September 2015 with Ranbir and Anushka in London. Later the team shot some portions in Paris. When Aishwarya joined the crew in October, they began shooting in the city of Vienna. The final shots were filmed in March 2016 in Mandawa, Rajasthan.
The movie is deeply associated with relationships, heartbreaks and how love completes you, and yet leaves you craving for more. The movie is all about falling in love with a person whole heartedly and then heartbreaks.
As per reports, Aishwarya Rai will be seen playing the role of Ranbir’s wife in the romantic venture and Anushka would be Ranbir’s girlfriend.
The film was first declared in 2014. Writer-director Karan Johar said that for the past year and a half he had been mounting a story that he needed to work on for several months. However, while he was in New York, the idea for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil suddenly struck him and he wrote the screenplay within a mere 30 days. When he came back to India he spoke to the three lead actors and they all signed the film immediately!
One of the reasons why the film has managed to create a lot of thrill is because this is the first time Karan Johar will be working with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
“I was shy around Aishwarya because of her beauty, poise, and general awesomeness. Anushka is completely straightforward, professional and easy to work with. And Ranbir is cool. It was a good laugh doing this character with him,” Lisa told IANS in an email interview from Mumbai.
Talking about her role, Lisa also quoted: “I got a real kick out of playing this character. I think that is all I should share.”
Well, there is no doubt that the music of the film is ought to be remarkable as it has been composed by the very talented and famous music director, Pritam. Even king Khan found the songs to be amazing.
